This was a fun job as customer wanted to update the water side of the house after years of Maine weather abuse and detected water damage it was decided to strip the whole side and fix the rot. First we got rid of 2 sliding doors in the dining room and changed them to picture units. This increased lighting and water view from the kitchen. The upstairs bedroom we took out the double hung window and arch top transom. We replaced them with a picture unit in the center and an opening casement on each side. This increased water view to the room and provided more air flow. The sliding doors in the living room were replaced and upgraded with higher ratings. All doors and windows are Andersen A-Series units with new pvc exterior trim. A new entrance fiberglass unit was installed to replace trotted pine door. We resided with cedar clapboard and 3 coats of stain.
